Let’s start with who I am. I am a citizen of the Kingdom of God first and foremost. A follower of Jesus Christ. Second, I’m a husband and a father. I’m also a brother, a son-in-law, a friend, a resident of the great state of Tennessee, and a citizen of the United States. By day I’m a number crunching, data diving, fact-finding machine. At night I don my superhero outfit and pretend to be a writer. I love hearing, reading, and writing a good story.
Now on to what I am not. I’m not an ordained minister nor am I lay clergy. I don’t get that sweet parking spot at the hospital. I’m not perfect, indeed far from it. Nor do I claim to be. Funny that the list of what I’m not is shorter than what I am … wonder what that means. No really, I wonder what that tells me about me.
This site serves as a creative outlet for my inner writer and hopefully, perhaps something I write will help someone one day. Even if it’s just to make them laugh. My writing runs the gamut of tongue-in-cheek, satire, comedy, tragedy; but it is always honest.
I love feedback and dialogue so please feel free to comment with questions or feedback. If you have a topic you’d like me to discuss just send it my way via the Contact Me page.
Glad you’re here and I hope you’ll stay a while.
